This collection of songs has been produced for, or inspired by the Disquiet Junto collective. The basic idea is to use limitations as a creative stimulation. As diverse as the weekly proposals that land in our mailboxes, the tracks here vary from the live solo recording to the orchestral. Some took a few hours to complete, some needed weeks. "Acousmatic disquiet" is just two well-prepared, improvised takes with the headphones on. But the point was microphones setting, and I remember it took me two hours only to put back everything & clean up.
"Just another day with Alice" came to me on a sunday morning while lying in bed. I then wrote my scenario on a paper (but not a score), and next created the song while always coming back to the paper.
You could say this is conceptual music. Yet every single sound has been played, and recorded in MIDI, without a written score or the help of a computer.
